These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FindMyOsteo website at https://findmyosteo.com ("Website") and the marketplace services provided by FindMyOsteo. By accessing or using our Website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services
FindMyOsteo is an online marketplace platform that connects patients with verified osteopathic practitioners. Our services include:
- Searchable directory of licensed osteopaths
- Consultation booking system
- Voucher purchase and management
- Secure payment processing through Stripe
- Review and rating system for practitioners
- Practitioner profile management and onboarding
- Customer support and dispute resolution
FindMyOsteo acts as an intermediary platform and is not itself a healthcare provider. We facilitate connections between patients and independent osteopathic practitioners.
3. User Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account Types
We offer different account types:
Patient Accounts: For individuals seeking osteopathic consultations
Practitioner Accounts: For licensed osteopaths offering their services on our platform
3.2 Registration Requirements
To use certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
3.3 Practitioner Verification
Practitioners must provide valid credentials and professional licenses. We reserve the right to verify all submitted credentials and reject applications that do not meet our standards.
4. Booking and Payment Terms
4.1 Consultation Vouchers
Patients can purchase consultation vouchers to book appointments with practitioners. By purchasing a voucher:
- You agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable platform fees
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe
- Vouchers are valid for the specific consultation type and duration purchased
- Voucher terms and expiration dates (if any) will be clearly stated at time of purchase
4.2 Platform Fees
FindMyOsteo charges a platform fee for each transaction to maintain and improve our services. The platform fee structure is:
- Fixed platform fee: As disclosed at checkout (currently $30 USD for voucher transactions)
- Fee may vary by transaction type and is always displayed before purchase confirmation
- Platform fees are non-refundable except as specified in our Refund Policy
4.3 Practitioner Payments
Practitioners receive payment for completed consultations minus the platform fee. By offering services on our platform, practitioners agree to:
- Our payment processing terms and fee structure
- Receive payouts according to our payment schedule
- Maintain accurate banking information for payouts
- Comply with all applicable tax obligations
4.4 Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are subject to our Refund Policy available at https://findmyosteo.com/refund-policy. Key points include:
- Patients may cancel consultations according to the timeframes specified in our Refund Policy
- Refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation and circumstances
- Platform fees may be non-refundable in certain situations

6. User Conduct and Responsibilities
6.1 Patient Responsibilities
As a patient, you agree to:
- Provide accurate health information when relevant
- Attend scheduled consultations or cancel with appropriate notice
- Treat practitioners with respect and professionalism
- Pay for services as agreed
- Provide honest and fair reviews based on your actual experience
- Not misuse the platform for fraudulent purposes
6.2 Practitioner Responsibilities
As a practitioner, you agree to:
- Maintain all required professional licenses and credentials
- Provide services professionally and in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations
- Honor bookings or cancel with appropriate notice and valid reasons
- Keep your availability calendar updated
- Respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain appropriate professional liability insurance
- Comply with all applicable healthcare privacy laws (HIPAA, etc.)
- Accurately represent your qualifications, specialties, and services
6.3 Prohibited Conduct
All users agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Use the platform for fraudulent or misleading purposes
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Attempt to circumvent platform fees by conducting transactions outside the platform
- Post false or misleading reviews
- Use automated systems or bots to access the platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other user accounts
- Share account credentials with others
7. Reviews and Ratings
7.1 Patient Reviews
Patients may submit reviews and ratings for practitioners after consultations. By submitting a review, you:
- Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your review
- Represent that your review is based on your genuine experience
- Agree not to post false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Understand that we may moderate or remove reviews that violate our policies
7.2 Practitioner Responses
Practitioners may respond to reviews. Responses must be professional, respectful, and not violate patient privacy or confidentiality.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Platform Content
All content on the FindMyOsteo platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is owned by FindMyOsteo or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any content without our written permission.
8.2 User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the platform (reviews, profile information, etc.). However, by submitting content, you grant FindMyOsteo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating and promoting our services.
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
9.1 Platform Role
FindMyOsteo is a marketplace platform that connects patients with independent practitioners. We do not:
- Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Control the quality or outcome of consultations
- Verify the completeness or accuracy of practitioner credentials beyond basic verification
- Guarantee the availability or reliability of practitioners
- Control practitioner actions or treatment decisions
9.2 No Medical Advice
Information on our platform is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Always seek the advice of qualified healthcare professionals with questions regarding medical conditions.
9.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINDMYOSTEO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use our services
- The conduct or content of practitioners or other users
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any other matter relating to our services
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9.4 Service Availability
We strive to maintain platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time without liability.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FindMyOsteo, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your content or conduct on the platform
- For practitioners: your provision of services to patients
11. Privacy and Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy available at https://findmyosteo.com/privacy-policy. By using our services, you consent to our Privacy Policy.
12. Third-Party Services
Our platform integrates with third-party services including:
- Stripe for payment processing
- Supabase for data storage and authentication
- Resend for email communications
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services' actions or policies.
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@findmyosteo.com. Upon termination, you remain responsible for any outstanding obligations.
13.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Your conduct harms or could harm other users or our platform
- We are required to do so by law
- For practitioners: your professional license is revoked or suspended
We will provide notice when reasonably possible, but we reserve the right to terminate immediately for serious violations.
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the platform will be revoked
- Outstanding bookings may be cancelled with appropriate refunds
- We may retain certain information as required by law or legitimate business purposes
- Provisions that by their nature should survive (indemnification, disclaimers, etc.) will continue to apply
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a dispute with us, please contact support@findmyosteo.com first, and we will attempt to resolve it informally.
14.2 Arbitration Agreement
Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if they qualify. The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You and FindMyOsteo agree to waive any right to a jury trial.
14.3 Class Action Waiver
You and FindMyOsteo agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming.
16. International Users
Our services are operated from the United States. If you access our platform from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify you via email or through a prominent notice on our platform
- Provide you with an opportunity to review the changes
Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should discontinue using our services.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FindMyOsteo regarding the use of our services and supersede any prior agreements.
20. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
21. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

IMPORTANT: FindMyOsteo is a marketplace platform only. We do not provide medical services. The practitioners on our platform are independent professionals responsible for their own services. Always consult with qualified healthcare providers for medical advice. In case of medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.
